I Got All A's!!
It has been so long since I last posted that even Facebook is starting to nag me! Let me give a quick update. It was an intense semester, made the more difficult by my own lack of self-care. Stress is a killer and a sapper of strength, and we must overcome it with practice. I know both how easy it is to let one's healthful practices slip out of a busy life, and the physical toll it takes on the body to do so. I hope you all learn from my mistakes and make time to care for your self.
I was more than a little dismayed at my utter lack of skill when it came to making videos. I produced only one for my writing class, and it was so bad that I shall not inflict it on you. I am practicing a revision, which I will post soon. I have lots of ideas I want to share, and I am greedily seeking the skills I need to do so. More as I learn!
New offer - Intensive Series
While nothing is set in stone, it looks like the fall semester will be my hardest yet. I need to take three science classes with their labs and a calculus class. Whew! That's a lot just to write! But I am equal to the task.
Fall will bring a severe restriction of my office hours, so I am offering a new package. The Intensive Series is designed to address trouble areas or performance issues quickly. Clients who receive weekly treatments have seen the most dramatic improvements in specific issues like neck or low back pain. If you have thought about coming in a few times in a row, this is your chance! Let's create some change this summer.
For more information, as always, you can text, call or email me, or simply ask when you come in next. Until I then, enjoy the summer!

New Hours for Spring Semester
Hello, all!
Hope this finds you well!
My office hours through May will be
Monday Closed
Tuesday 9am - 1pm
Wednesday 2pm - 3pm
Thursday 9am - 1pm
Friday 11am - 6pm.
I am taking 12 credits this semester, and I'm a little worried about that. But my classes sound great so far. We already got to use microscopes in my Genetics class, and the first lab in Organic Chemistry is to make moonshine! What a great start!
I am most excited about my Technical writing class, however, because this class will teach/force me to create the types of documents that I want to share here, but don't have the know-how yet. The syllabus says we will create instructional videos, podcasts and other types of multimedia presentations. I will be practicing on you all, so your feedback will be most welcome and helpful!
On the massage front, I'm delighted by the many ways our fascial system shows up in my science classes! Microtubules play a stunning role in cell division, and consequently on the overall health of our tissues. Since cells are dividing all the time, every massage catches some cells in the process. I'll be keeping an eye on the role of extracellular forces (ie. massage) in any division processes.
I look forward to applying some extracellular force for you!
